SAM.gov Registration, Renewal, and Entity Validation Support
An active SAM.gov registration is required for most federal contracts, and mismatched records can cause delays. I help you complete a new registration, renew an existing one, or sort out problems so your profile is accurate and ready.
Who this is for
This is for business owners who need to register for the first time, renew before expiration, or fix a registration that is stuck or was returned. The UEI, or Unique Entity ID, is the number SAM.gov assigns to identify your business.
What you receive
- Support with entity validation and your UEI
- CAGE Code application
- NAICS code selection
- Representations and certifications
- Small business profile setup
- Annual renewal scheduling
Who does what
What I do
I guide the process, prepare your entries from the information you give me, check that your records match, and help you answer follow-up questions.
What you do
You provide accurate business information, confirm every entry, and authorize the submission, because the certifications are made in your name.
What the government does
SAM.gov and the entity validation reviewers check each registration and set their own processing times. Activation depends on their review.
About fees. My consulting fee is separate from government fees. Registering in SAM.gov is free to do yourself on the official site, so you are paying for my time and experience, not for access to the system. If any government or third-party fee applies to your situation, I will tell you before you commit.
How it works
- 1
Tell me where you stand
Is this a new registration, a renewal, or a problem you need fixed?
- 2
I review your details
I check your business information so your records line up before anything is submitted.
- 3
We complete the registration
I prepare the entries and walk through them with you for confirmation.
- 4
We follow it through
I stay with you through any questions from the reviewers until the process is complete.
What I need from you
- Your legal business name and address exactly as they appear on official records
- Ownership details and the person authorized to submit for the business
- A description of what you sell, or your NAICS codes if you know them
- Any certifications you hold
- Your existing UEI or CAGE Code and your renewal date, if this is a renewal
You enter sensitive items, such as banking details, yourself in your own account. We will agree on a safe way to handle any account access you need to share.
Timing
My part of the work depends on how complete your records are and how quickly you can confirm details. Government review is separate. SAM.gov and entity validation set their own timelines, and delays most often come from records that do not match.
I prepare everything carefully to keep back and forth to a minimum. I cannot promise a specific activation date, but a clean, accurate submission gives you the smoothest path. If your registration is about to expire or a bid deadline is near, tell me in your request.

Common questions
Do I need a SAM.gov registration?
Generally yes, to be awarded federal contracts. State and local requirements vary by buyer.
How long does it take?
It depends on how complete your records are and on the government’s review time, which I do not control. I prepare the registration carefully so it moves as smoothly as possible.
What does it cost?
My consulting fee is separate from any government fees. SAM.gov registration itself is free to do yourself. I confirm my fee with you before work begins.
Can you renew my existing registration?
Yes. Send me your renewal date and your UEI and I will take it from there.
My registration was returned or is stuck. Can you help?
Send me the message you received and I will review what it points to and how to resolve it.
Is there a charge to talk first?
If our first conversation is enough, there is no charge.
